William Neal Henry

William Neal Henry, age 82, passed away Wednesday July 3rd, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Neal was preceded in death by his parents William E. and Hazel (Newman) Henry. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Glenda; his brother George (Gwen) Henry; daughters Jana (Larry) Turpin of Delton, MI and Brittany (Scott) Graham of Germantown, MD; grandchildren, Kinzy (Courtney) Turpin of Kalamazoo, MI; Josiah Turpin of Delton, MI; and Olivia King of Germantown, MD; and several nieces and nephews. Neal was a lifelong resident of Bradley County serving most of those years as a self-employed farmer. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church in Chattanooga and served in the US Air Force. He was employed by Bowater, as a forest ranger, and as principal of McDonald Elementary. He enjoyed fishing, entertaining, and traveling with his many friends.
The family will receive friends at Companion Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Saturday July 6th, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Companion Funeral Home on Sunday July 7th, 2019 at 2 p.m. Immediately following the funeral service, the family invites you to join them at the Henry Farm Pavilion to celebrate the life of their beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
