William Jefferson Sullivan

August 22, 1954 — March 28, 2018

William Jefferson “Jeff” Sullivan, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at his home in Dayton. Jeff was the oldest of three children born to Richard and Lorine (Brady) Sullivan on August 22, 1954, in Pikeville, Tennessee.
Jeff was raised on Dayton mountain where he learned how to work the land and drive a truck at the early age of 14. He spent the majority of his life driving semi-trailer trucks across the country. He had a love for music and movies, and as a teenager, he was the drummer in his cousin’s band. Jeff could build and fix anything, especially when it came to vehicles. He loved to laugh and joke around with family and friends. But, he was truly the happiest when he had a fishing pole in his hand and was waiting for the fish to bite.
He is survived by his best friend and companion, Jamie Keith; daughter, Celina Sullivan and her mother, Carma Sullivan; daughter, Lori (Dave) Burrington from Willoughby, Ohio; Bailee and Caleb Keith; two grandchildren, Tyler and Brook Burrington; brother, Ben Sullivan; a nephew and many nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Yvonne “Bonnie” Gravett (2006).
Services to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, April 7, at 1:00 p.m. at Spivey Cemetery. Jeff’s fun loving nature and down-to-earth attitude will be greatly missed.
