William "Denny" Blair

William “Denny” Blair passed away in his home in Cleveland, TN, December 22, 2018 at the age of 78. He was born in Barbourville, KY, April 30, 1940.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace J. and Martha Blair; brother, Robert J. Blair; brother, Tate Blair; sister, Thelma Cooper; and sister, Lueda Pilkerton.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, of 56 years; daughter, Kristy Fincher and husband, Craig; daughter, Karla Sessoms and husband, Brad; son, Steven Blair; special cousins, nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Denny was a lover of God, a faithful husband, a hero to his children, a true friend and a fan of all things football (especially Peyton Manning). He showed day-to-day the true meaning of selfless love for others, perseverance through great adversity and a steady faith.
The family will receive friends at a drop-in visitation on Saturday, January 5, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at North Cleveland Church of God, Room 160. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Church of God World Missions.
