William "Bill" Taylor Runions

William “Bill” Taylor Runions, 86, of Charleston, TN passed away on March 22, 2023. He was born on February 20, 1937 to the late Laughton and Reed Runions. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, dog training, woodworking, farming, and any other outdoor activities.

In addition to his mother and father he is preceded in death by his wife Joy Runions; grandson Taylor McConnell; brother Clarence “Sonny” Runions.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory two daughters Lynn Hovey (William) and Melissa Liskey (Todd); sister Barbara Brown (Bernard); nephews: Tripp Brown (Barbara) and Britt Brown; niece Beth Covey (Donnie); sister in law Nellie McClendon (John Riley), Deborah Fugate; brother-in-law Perry Chauncy (Pat). In addition to these he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Chipper.

Bill’s family will receive friends from 3pm until 6pm on Friday March 24th at Companion Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6pm. He will be laid to rest with a family graveside service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Saturday March 25, 2023.
