William "Bill" John Boehm

William “Bill” John Boehm, 68, of Ooltewah, TN passed away on March 30, 2019. Bill has been a resident of Ooltewah for the past 25 years. He was a member of Collegedale Community Church. Bill served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 24 years of service. He was a true handyman and could fix anything. Those who knew Bill were very aware of his love for “tinkering.” Bill also was fascinated with old cars and Corvettes especially. He never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Anna Boehm; brothers Paul Boehm and Allen Boehm.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 49 years, Carol Boehm; children: April Hobbs (Norman), Scot Boehm (Adriana), and Brandy Hendricksen (James); sisters: Rita Maschmeier (Bob), Diane Babcock (Craig), and Patti Boehm; grandchildren: Savannah Hobbs, Nelson Hobbs, Austin Boehm, Phillip Boehm, Isabella Boehm, Patrick Hendricksen, and Colton Hendricksen. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life service is scheduled for 6:00pm on Saturday April 6, 2019 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm prior to the service. Full military honors will be present at the service. Bill will be laid to rest at a later date at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
