Obituary
William Arvil Pell, 88 a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Wednesday night, July 8th, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Arvil was born on September 22nd, 1926 a son of the late Isaac R. Pell and Laura Trippett Pell. He was an honorable discharge veteran of the United State Army. Arvil along with his wife worked for many years in a local furniture manufacturing company.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one great great grandson William Blake Rogers, three sisters Peggy Bird, Rosezella Keith and Inez Ghorley and three borthers Ralph Pell, Isaac R. Pell Jr. and James L. Pell.

Arvil leaves behind to cherish his memory his soulmate Juanita Vernice Keith Pell, three children, Phyllis Cooper (A.C. Jr.), Brenda B.B. Neely(David), Jimmy Pell and an adopted by love daughter Pat Kibble Pell, eight grandchildren, A.C. Cooper III (Bernadette), Tiffany Cooper McKenney, Angela Cooper Rogers (Robin), Rodney Neely (Gina), Jason Neely (Annalee), Nukuma Pell (Amber), Jim Bob Pell (Vanessa) and Brandy Pell Murray. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, Sara Cooper Gibson (Jesse), Chaffie Cooper (Holly), Megan Cooper Hughes (Mitch), Chase E. Tallent (Ashley), Eric Rodvan, Blake Chandlar Rogers (Amanda), Wm. Baylor Rogers, Natalee Anderson (Nathan), Ginger Neely, Jordan Neely, Tyler Neely, Kylie Neely, Talon Pell, Dakota Pell and Kierstin Murray and ten great great grandchildren, Lydia, Noah, Annalee, Aiden Cooper, Austin Cooper, Everlee Hughes, Neyland Tallent, Pierce Anderson, Jayden Pell and Xavier Pell. Arvil is also survived by two sisters Marteze McDonald of Georgia and Judy Lowe of Cleveland along with numerous other extended family members.

A celebration of his life will take place on Monday night, July 13th, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the New Salam Baptist Church located at 175 Ladd Springs Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend A. C. Cooper Jr. officiating. The service will conclude with military honors to honor Arvil service to our country.

The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the New Salam Baptist Church Arvil & Vernice Memorial Fund in their memory. The family wishes to construct a memorial garden at the church in their memory.

The family would like to say thank you to Angela Rodgers for the excellent caretaking of her grandparents during their illness.
