Wayne Eugene Lee

Wayne Eugene Lee, 69, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away January 5, 2021. Wayne was born to the late J.C. and Blanche Davis Lee. Wayne was a graduate of Birchwood High School.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Freeman Lee, two daughters, Merita and Ditty Lee, one granddaughter, Suzie Lee and one grandson, Brody Lee all of Ooltewah, TN.; one sister, Carolyn (Dewillis) Roark, of Birchwood, TN.; two brothers, Alvin (Betty) Lee, of Cleveland, TN, and Max (Stephi) Lee of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne worked at McKee bakery, drove an ambulance for the Volunteer Fire Department, owned and operated Lee’s Food Market and Gas Station on Highway 58 and Lee Restaurant. He was a Hamilton County School Bus Contractor for over 20 years and a supervisor at Walmart in Ooltewah.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic no services are planned at this time. A private family service will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga and Home Health for their loving care.
