Wanda Faye Thompson

Wanda Faye Thompson, 86, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at a local healthcare facility. Wanda loved to meet people, loved animals, and was actively involved at Waterville Baptist Church, where she attended. She was dearly loved and deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thompson; parents, Paul A. and Mary M. Wilson; siblings, Nadia (Fred) Kimsey, Willard (Nannie) Wilson; sister-in-law, Gwendola Wilson; brother-in-law, Julian Evans.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Sandra Beardsley and Brenda Gaylor; grandson, Brandon Breland; siblings, Eunice Evans, Ralph Wilson, and Bill (Jackie) Wilson; along with several special nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 15, 2018 from 11-1pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. The celebration of life service will be held at 1pm in the chapel. Burial will follow at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev Coby Goins will officiate.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Waterville Baptist Church in her honor.
