Wanda "Faye" Davis

Wanda “Faye” Davis, 75, a resident of Decatur, Tn passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born in Athens, TN on July 4, 1944 a daughter of Floyd and Pearl Rockholt. Faye lived in Kissimmee, FL for a while where she worked at Publix as a cake decorator. She also worked at Shaw industries for 30 plus years. Faye was a talented cake baker and decorator and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son Steven Dewayne Davis and one daughter Carol DeWanna Davis, one grandson Brad Dewayne Parker, one sister Joyce Rockholt Womac and one brother Floyd Lee Rockholt.
Faye leaves behind to cherish his memory her loving husband of 59 years Glen Davis, one daughter Tammy Parker, one son Scotty Davis, one brother Jimmy Ray Rockholt and his wife Becki of Palm Coast, FL, three grandchildren Chad Parker, Hannah Davis and David Dase, five great grandchildren Kaylee Parker, Brailey Parker, Bella Parker, Maci Parker and Isaac Parker, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Monday, February 24, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church located at 14108 N. No Pone Valley Road in Decatur, TN with the Reverend Jamie Davis and the Reverend Mike Rymer officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday at the Church from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time.
The interment will follow the service in the Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
