Wade Leroy Jenkins

Wade Leroy Jenkins, 77, of Cleveland, TN passed away on August 28, 2021. He was born on August 10, 1944 to the late Floyd and Bertha Jenkins. Wade was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from Cleveland Utilities. Wade was a faithful servant to the Lord in several different capacities, and was a spiritual mentor to so many. Those who knew Wade will forever remember him as an extremely talented individual who could “fix anything.” He was an outdoorsman and loved to travel, especially to Gulf Shores, AL. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Neloms Jenkins; siblings: Gene, Ray, Bob Joe, Ed, and Reta Sue.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Matthew Jenkins and wife Cindy; grandchildren Caiden Jenkins and Calvin Wade Jenkins; siblings: Maxine Swafford, Sandra Chastain, and Evelyn Rockholt (Chuck). In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday at Fort Hill Cemetery. A procession will leave from Companion Funeral Home at 10:30am.
