W. Terry Baxter

Terry Baxter, 62 of Old Fort, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 18, 2020. He was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong resident of the area. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family especially his granddaughter, Tinsley. He loved his dog, Nala, very much.

He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Baxter.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Sue Cartwright; son, TJ (Peyton) Baxter; daughter, Terra (Josh Wilson) Allison; sister, Darlene Baxter (Lynn) Cross; grandchildren, Tinsley Allison and Skylar Baxter; and nephews, Zach and Patrick Cross.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 2:00PM on Thursday, May 21, 2020 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00PM with Pastor David Disney officiating. A graveside service will follow in Dill Cemetery in Old Fort, TN.
