Virginia Jo Carlisle

Virginia Jo Carlisle, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 21st,2017. She was the daughter of the late Rosa and Thomas Robbins. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Carlisle, daughters, Debbie Carpenter, Glenda Lucas, brother Richard Robbins. Survivors include her children, Charles (Rhonda) Carlisle, Sharon (Glenn) Ellis, Larry Carpenter. Brothers Bill (Bonnie) Robbins, Raymond (Pam) Robbins, sister Joyce Sedman. Grandchildren, Charles Lewis, Lisa Dobbs, Tanya Gentry, Sean Carpenter, Robb Ellis, Jason Carpenter, Joel Carpenter, and Lacy Ellis. Fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was a member of Chamberlain Memorial Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at 11:30am on Tuesday, May 30th. Robb Ellis will be officiating the service.
