Virginia Arminda Green Beaty

Obituary
Virginia Arminda Green Beaty, 94, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning April 1, 2015, at home.
Virginia was born in Ellijay, GA, on January 22, 1921 to the Reverend Jesse Philip Green and his wife Ethel Ellen Keener Green, as the fourth of seven children. Virginias life was one dedicated to the Lord. She was saved at an early age and began to follow Christ at the age of fifteen. Virginia held a Bachelors degree in English from Peabody College which is now a part of Vanderbilt University and a Masters Degree in Library Science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She spent all of her married life ministering alongside her husband James everywhere from South America to the Southeast United States. She will forever be remembered as a very Godly woman who loved her family and serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
Virginia is the last surviving member of her family, which included her parents and her siblings: J.P. Green, Jr., Imagene Ellis, Alice Cheek, Margaret Cantrell, Hal Green and Sara Nell Miller.
She is survived by her husband, James M. Beaty, by her son, Mark U. Beaty, his wife Jamie Charlene Pitre Beaty and their children, Isaiah James Beaty and Carmen Camille Beaty, by one sister-in-law, Margaret Becket Green, wife of Hal, by various nieces, nephews, and a host of brothers and sisters in the Lord.
Friends who would like to do so may make a contribution to the James and Virginia Beaty Library Endowment at Pentecostal Theological Seminary.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday April 3, 2015 at Westmore Church of God. The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 10:00am until the 12:00pm service time. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
