Virgie "Ginger" Edith King

May 29, 1934 — November 17, 2020

Virgie Edith King, also known as Ginger King, made it home to be with her Lord and Savior and so many loved ones that have been waiting for her arrival. Born May 29, 1934 to Amisa David and Minnie Bell Green in Anadarko, OK. She was the eighth daughter of nine girls. She entered into heaven on Nov. 17, 2020. She is survived by her six children, Larry King, David King, Steve (Jeannie) King, Debra (Ken) Towler, Suellen (Robert) Keller, Renee (Dan) Eason and eighteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, her youngest sister Neva Prince and many nieces, nephews and friends. Ginger loved her family more than anything else in this world and was there for every birth, wedding and important life event. She was so proud of her family's every accomplishment. She was so kind and generous and went out of her way to make you feel special. She was a wonderful seamstress and made her children's clothes when they were younger. She loved to travel and especially loved to visit family and friends. She would never leave the house without having her jewelry coordinated, make-up and hair perfectly done. She loved to laugh, sing in church, and enjoyed hot fudge sundaes. She was married to Eugene Louis King for 66 years and 3 days serving beside him in ministry for many years and with him raised their children to know and love God. Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Gene, her seven sisters Gladys, Hazel, Viola, Owna, Dee Ella, Doris and Wanda, her daughter-in-law Donna King and her three grandsons, Jimmy King, Joshua and Kyle Towler. Our beloved Mother will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren forever. We will see her again. Soon…just not today
