Victor David Peak

Victor David Peak, 72, of Decatur, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. Victor was born on February 22, 1950, in Athens, Tennessee to the late Lilly Peak. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he served 8 years. Victor was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church in Decatur.

Along with his mother he was preceded in death by his brother, Ross Daniels.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years, Janet Elizabeth Peak; his children, Timothy (Lisa) Peak, Elizabeth Williams, John (Stacey) Peak, and Matt (Lindsey) Peak; grandchildren, Timothy Peak Jr., Christina (Tyler) Hodgins, James Kemp, Amanda (Will) Stewart, Hailey (Cody) Thomas, Autumn Peak, Payton Peak, Madison Peak, Mckenzie Peak, Sammy (Kendra) Suggs Jr., and Rosey Suggs; 19 great grandchildren; and his brother in law, John David (Sonya) Hallam; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 7:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens with Pastor Mike Couch officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm prior to the service.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Mt. View Cemetery in Decatur, Tennessee.
