Velma Rose "Kitty" Scoggins

Velma Rose “Kitty” Scoggins, 88, of Harrison, TN passed away on November 7, 2016. She was born on May 28, 1929 to the late John and Lillie Lynn. Velma has been a resident of this area for more than sixty years. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Albert L. Scoggins and several siblings. She leaves behind to cherish her memory three sons: Larry Wallace, Ronald Wallace (Bonae), and Eddie Harris (Donna); daughter Kathy Harris Morrow (Michael); sisters Vieva Griffey and Evelyn Shull; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A graveside service will take place at 2:00pm on Thursday November 10, 2016 at Lakewood Memory Gardens East located at 4621 Shallowford Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411.
