Tracy Simpson

Tracy Simpson, 60, of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. Tracy was a lifelong resident of Fort Oglethorpe, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Joe and Jacquelyn McBee, and sister, Toni McBee.

She is survived by her loving husband of 9 years, Darrell Simpson; children: Wayne (Laura) Simpson, Nathaniel (Jennifer) Simpson, and Kristina Scales; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers: Randy (Connie) McBee, Bruce (Teresa) McBee, and Benny (Linda) McBee, Michael McBee; and several nieces and nephews.

Tracy loved helping others as seen through her 25 years of being an LPN. She also had a deep love for her family, and arts and crafts, namely diamond art. She was excited to teach her granddaughters and great-granddaughters how to do it.

A Celebration of Life will be held at West Side Voting Precinct in Rossville, GA, on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Darrell’s GoFundMe page.
