Thurma D. Kerr

Thurma Jean Kerr, 64, was called home to be with the Lord on May 10th, 2021. She passed peacefully with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thurman Sain and Catherine Pate Sain. She was of the Baptist faith.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of over 48 years, Stephen D. Kerr; her son, Joseph D. Kerr (Sandra); her daughter, Brandy L. Kerr(Greg Goodwin); her grandchildren Zander Kerr, Kevin Williamson, Rose Crider, Elsie Vagliano, Danyell Sholtz, and Brittany Collins; as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and family at Berean Baptist Church from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, May 17th, 2021. Services will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Companion funeral home with visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 PM with the service starting at 2:00 PM with Joseph D. Kerr and Johnny Sosebee officiating. Graveside services will follow at Samples Memorial Cemetery.
