Teresa Lynn Oxford

Teresa Lynn Oxford, 64 years old, was born in Chattanooga, TN, lived in Ringgold, GA passed
away on Monday, March 28th 2022 at 6:00pm. She worked as an RN for 40 years at Erlanger
medical hospital, earning her Bachelor's degree. Teresa specialized in mother/Baby unit. She
finished her career in the NICU(Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). She enjoyed time with her friends
and family, loved the ocean, and worked incredibly hard for the people she loved.
She was preceded by Parents; Paul and Clarine Goins; and sister: Kim Goins. She was
survived by: Brothers: Jimmy Goins, Paul Goins Jr.(Jolly). Children: Jennifer Oxford Whittaker
(Chris), Richard Lee Oxford Jr. (Crystal), Maygen Trace Gaddis (Kenneth), Kimberly Nicole
Johnson, Tyler Payne. Grandchildren: Brooklynn Oxford (Travis), Makayla Oxford, Hannah
Oxford, Logan K. McDaniel, Brianna Harrison. Great-Grandchildren: Gavin Oxford-Jenkins.
She graduated from Kirkman Technical High Chattanooga, TN. Attended Chattanooga State
Community College. She grew up in east Chattanooga. She was a straight A student and voted
most beautiful in her class. She loved going on long drives and her favorite candy was
chocolate cherries. She took in numerous family members and friends and left a huge legacy to
her name.
A memorial gathering will be held at Coolidge Park Saturday, April 9th 2022 at 12:00pm. Call
