We mourn the loss of Teresa Lovetta Jennings, a beloved woman who brought joy and love to all those who knew her. Teresa passed away on April 16, 2023, at her residence in Ootlewah, Tennessee, at the age of 62.

Teresa was born on July 26, 1960, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Willie and Virginia (Jones) Hill. She had a warm and sweet personality and was known for her love of cooking, travel, music, Sudoku, Puzzles, and Bingo. But her greatest passion in life was her family. She deeply loved her spouse, Tommy Jennings, her children, Michael Roland Hill, Christopher Alexander Hill, and Jessica Jennings Ford, and her grandchildren, Tiara Slocum, Ciara Slocum, Janotice Slocum, Elizabeth Hill, and Janayah Hill.

Teresa was preceded in death by her brother, Professor Jerry B. Ferguson, her father, Willie James Hill, her aunt, Katherine Bailey Rankin, her grandmother, Dorothy Bailey Jones, her grandfather, Samuel Jones, and her beloved grandson, Joshua Lamare Jennings Dismuke.

Teresa's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and community. We pray that her loved ones find comfort in knowing that Teresa lived a life full of love and that her memory will continue to inspire kindness and compassion for generations to come.
