Obituary

Teresa Evelyn Cross, 56, of Cleveland, TN passed away on Tuesday August 5, 2014. She was born on March 29, 1958 to the late Bueron and Betty Young. Teresa loved to fish, birds, spending time at the lake, and wind chimes. Above all things, however, she loved her granddaughter Kaylan, and spending time with her. Teresa loved to sing in church and worship with those around her.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Larry “Hammer” Cross; one sister Judy Robinson; and one nephew Charlie Atchley.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter Amanda Cross (Tracy); granddaughter Kaylan Duffy; sisters Betty Gates (Chuck), Wanda Richmond (Terry); Sondra Crowden (Tim); sister in laws: Lesia Cross, Patricia Dixon (David); brother in law Gary Cross (Nola). In addition to these, she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Michigan Ave. Church of God located on Minnis Road at 3:00pm on Saturday August 9, 2014 with Pastor Charles Hollifeld officiating, whom she cherished and loved. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the church prior to the service.
