Ted Quintard

Edward “Ted” Alexander Quintard, Jr, 76, of Calhoun, Tennessee passed away, Friday, July 21, 2017 in his home. Ted is survived by his wife Cathy of 44 years, son Christopher Marcus, daughter Barbara Christie, son Edward Andrew, grandson Carson Andrew. Ted is also survived by former spouse Sandra Garrett, the mother of his son Edward Alexander Quintard, III, daughter-in-law Donna, grandson Cory, granddaughter Halle, mother Margaret Prince Quintard, sisters Camilla Rich, Margaret Brown (Gary) of Kissimmee Florida, Caroline Duckham (Dewey) of Los Gatos California, brothers William Alexander Quintard (Diane) of St. Augustine Florida, Charles Todd Quintard (Barbara) of Flowery Branch Georgia, and many loved Nieces and Nephews.

Ted was born July 11th, 1941 in Ft Benning, Georgia to Edward Alexander Quintard, Sr and Margaret Prince Quintard. He graduated from Sewanee Military Academy in 1959, attended Auburn University, and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a retired founding partner and VP of Operations at CPQ Professional Imaging. Ted was an active member of Calhoun UMC. He served as Lead Sound Technician, President of United Methodist Men, and a member of various church committees throughout the years. He was dedicated to working with Boy Scouts of America Troop 616. He was a member of the committee for rank advancement and a member of the BSA Unaka District Board of Review for Eagle Scouts. He was an avid sports fan and music lover with a great sense of humor who loved his friends and family.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday, July 28 at Companion Funeral Home, 2417 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, July 29 at Calhoun United Methodist Church, 820 TN-163, Calhoun, TN 37309.
