Tanner Burk

Tanner Burk, 26, of Cleveland, TN passed away on November 9, 2022. He was born on February 5, 1996. Tanner was an avid outdoorsman who loved 4-wheeling in the mud. Tanner was a Florida Gator Football Fan through and through. He enjoyed playing pool and while he was tough on the outside, Tanner had a heart of gold. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Delores Bowers and Becky King; grandfather Robert Dye; nephew Nicholas Jones; uncle Steven Bowers.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father Donald Burk and stepmother Heather; mother Keri Chastain and stepfather Chris; loving Companion Abbey Gibson; sisters Michelle Beavers (William) and Cassandra “Hope” Burk; brothers Jeremiah Burk and Davin Burk; nephews Connor Beavers, Tucker Beavers, niece Carlee Beavers; grandparents: George and Lana Burk, Janice Burk, Alan and Lisa Bowers, James and Lajuan Jenkins, Brenda Russell, Gladys Barker; aunts and uncles: Mark Jenkins (Christie), Mitchell Jenkins, Nick Chastain (Brenda), Nanette Ivey (Kenny), Bill Burk (Angie), Holly Cooper (Chaffie), Hiedi Adams (Jacob)

In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous extended family members and a host of friends.

Tanner’s family will receive friends on Monday November 14th from 4pm until 8pm at Prospect Church of God. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday the 15th at the church at 12pm with visitation for one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest following the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
