Tamara Sue Johnson

Tamara Sue Johnson, 57, of Cleveland, TN, passed away April 24, 2023, at her residence. She was born June 30, 1965, in Zanesville, Ohio and of the Christian faith. Tamara loved painting, drawing, and making miniature furniture. She was strong willed, funny, loved to sing. Prince was her favorite. She was the light of our family.

Preceded in death by her father, Willard Alonzo Johnson; mother, Dolores Johnson; siblings, Bobby Johnson, Mary Keith, Larry Johnson, Brenda Johnson, Elaine Johnson, and Junior Johnson.

Survived by her sons-in-law, Brett Zimmerman and James Barnes; daughters, Tiffany Wilson and Rebecca Johnson; siblings, Willard “Willie” Johnson, Virginia Martin, J.D. Martin, and James “Jimmy” Johnson; grandchildren, James Barnes, Jr., Renesmee Barnes, Miyah Wilson, Layla Pierce, and Sasha Davis; best friend & father of her children, Brue Pierce; special sister-in-law, Beverly Pierce Allen.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service at 7:00 PM. Pastor Richard Mason, officiating.
