Susan Tinsley Richmond

Susan Tinsley Richmond, 53, of Cleveland, passed away Monday night, March 14, 2016, at home surrounded by her family.
She brought a smile to the face of everyone she ever encountered. She was beautiful. She was warm. She was genuine. She was loyal, decent, kind, and smart. She loved her parents, husband, children, grandchildren, brother, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her pets beyond measure. She valued her family above all else. She loved to joke. She loved big hugs and kisses. She loved sunsets more than anyone else I’ve ever met. She loved photography and took many amazing photographs. She loved Cades Cove and the mountains. And Lord knows she loved shopping. More than all of that, she was a helluva lot of fun to be with.
No one loved to laugh, to have fun or enjoy a good time more than my sister.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lee R. Tinsley; Grandparents Alvin and Helen Climer and Rando and Willie May Tinsley.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother and stepfather, Phyllis and Bob Reece; husband, Ray Richmond; son, Chase Richmond and fiancée Patti Meigs; daughter, Amanda Clayton and husband Jon; three grandchildren: Alexis, Bella and Gunner Clayton; brother Randy Tinsley and wife April; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous other extended family members and friends. Funeral will be conducted Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311, Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery. Chase Richmond, Jon Clayton, Randy Tinsley, Heath Tinsley, Bobby Richmond and Tommy Richmond will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Companion funeral home.
