Sue Triplett Prichard

Sue Triplett Prichard, 82, a lifelong resident of this area passed away on Sunday evening, February 5th, 2017 in a Spring City, TN healthcare facility. Sue was born in Reliance, TN on December 14th, 1934 a daughter of the late Ernest & Emma Triplett. She was a member of the South View Baptist Church and was retired from AT&T.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband – Willie Edward Prichard, one brother Edward “Buster” Triplett and four sisters Lillian Higdon, Kathleen Morgan, Bobbie Coleman and Lorene Martin.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son and daughter-in-law Keith and Missy Prichard, one daughter Kathy Gail Cross, three grandchildren Kristi Aday, Jeremy Cross and April Brewer, seven great grandchildren Amber Kilburn, Kassie Hooker, Amanda Hooker, Makayla Liner, Emily Liner, Kyler Deal-Cross and Jordan Deal-Cross, two brothers Tom Triplett of Athens, TN and Darrell Triplett of Lenoir City, TN, three sisters Betty Hamby and Leona Haney both of Etowah, TN and Nina Reynolds of Sweetwater, TN, one sister in law Jo Triplett of Etowah, TN, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Ronnie Ledford officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service time in the funeral home parlor.

Interment will follow in the Brock Graveyard in McMinn County with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
