Stanley Dwain Headrick

Stanley Headrick, 71, of Etowah, Tennessee passed away at his home on the early morning of Thursday, July 21, 2022, of natural causes. Stan was a native of Maryville, Tennessee but moved to Etowah at an early age where he eventually met and married his true love, Carolyn Land. Stan retired from Johns Manville Corporation after a 37-year career. He was a deacon at the Church of the Rock in Etowah and stood firmly on his faith in God.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, William Headrick, and Gloria McConnell; and his brother, Daril Headrick.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Carolyn Land; son, Eddie Headrick; three grandchildren, Madison Headrick, Maegan Headrick, and Mason Headrick all of Etowah; nephews, Willie Headrick, and Lorran Headrick both of Tellico Plains; along with a host of extended family and friends.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens.
