Obituary
Shirley Ortiz, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving husband and daughter. Originally from Ohio and formerly of Lansing, Michigan, Shirley spent the last several years in Harrison, TN to be near her daughter and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. James Randolph, brother, Jimmy Randolph, and step-mother, June Randolph. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Jorge Ortiz and daughter Mary (Woody) Miller and two grandchildren Savannah and Trey Miller; siblings Janice (Junior) Younts, Bonnie Medina, David, Alice, and Beth Randolph, and cousin Dottie (Harold) Coffey; mother in-law, Carolina Garcia-Maldonado, sister in-laws Janie Orozco, Alvera Maldonado, Maggie Velazquez, brother in-laws, Richard (Norma) Garcia, David and Johnny Maldonado, step-daughters Carrie and Jessica Ortiz and their children, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday, May 17th,2015 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with Chaplain Dick Fisher with Hearth Hospice officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Etowah,TN.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Deanna Duncan and her staff at Hearth Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
