Shirley Ion Shirley, 75, of Calhoun, GA passed away on January 6, 2016. She was born on November 17, 1940 to the late Lonnie and Virginia Craig.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Faye and granddaughter Kristy Hensley.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Raymond Shirley; son Gordon Craig of Calhoun, GA; daughters: Florene Nicholson (Lamar Sutherland), of Calhoun, GA; brothers Richard Craig (Sue) of Calhoun, GA and Larry Craig (Donna) of Athens, TN; sisters: Melinda Champion (Tommy) of Tennga, GA, Paula Baliles (Charles) of Tennga, GA; Barbara Brown Middlebrooks (Jimmy) of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren: Danny Floyd, Jennifer Fricks, Joe Craig, Nikki Craig, Matthew and Mary Ann Libao; great grandchildren: Amanda and Ciera Fricks, Brittany Floyd, Bryan Floyd, Shanna Floyd, McKenzie Camp, Drake, Payton, and Emily Hunter, Annalisse Oquendo, Jose Chavira, Jaiden Johnson, and Tina Libao; great great grandchildren: Gunner Canada and Adalynn Paradise.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday January 10, 2016 at Boone Ford Baptist Church located at 1350 Boone Ford Road SE, Calhoun, GA 30741 with Gary Quarles and Barry Brock officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Salacoa Cemetery in Fairmount, GA.
