Shelia Gwen Millar

Shelia Gwen Millar, 68, a long-time resident of Central Florida, passed away on December 10, 2015 in Cleveland, TN. She was born on March 5, 1947 to the late Claude and Phyllis Lewis in Champaign, Illinois. She received her law degree from the University of Illinois, and practiced law in Illinois and Florida. She had a lifelong love of learning and pursued many interests, including a love of cooking, pets, and wildlife. Shelia and her beloved dog, “Princess Zoe,” were Certified Pet Partners visiting children’s hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice patients. Her life centered around her family, and she will forever be remembered as generous, loving, and compassionate, giving freely of her time and abilities.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jerry Millar; daughter Sabra Condra and son-in-law Jim of Cleveland, TN; son Joel Millar and daughter-in-law Natalia Sorgente of Washington, DC; grandchildren: Jessica Fink and husband Chris, Turner Condra, Emilia Millar, and Mark Millar; great grandchildren: Aubrey Fink and Colton Fink; and an aunt and uncle, Shirley and Roy Brown of Mt. Vernon, IL.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Sunday December 13, 2015 at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
