Shelby Dean Clark

Shelby Dean Clark, 82, of Bradley County, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. She was born on May 29, 1937 to the late Horace and Lena Garner Melton. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and loved to travel. She enjoyed her outings with her nieces and sisters, spending time with her family and loving on her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Clark and brothers, Houston, Buddy and Randall Melton.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Kathy (Joe) Flowers and April (Randy) Bienvenu; sisters, Tootsie McCracken, Louise Ogle and Jimmie Robinson; grandchildren, Matt Flowers, HeatherAnn (Shawn) Blair, Rachel and Lena Clark and Cameron and Ethan Bienvenu; sister-in-law, Norma Melton; special caregivers, Betty Flowers and Mary Randolph; and many loved nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 2:00PM on Sunday, May 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will follow with Pastor Roger Thompson officiating. Interment will follow immediately in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
