Sheila Rae Mathews

Sheila R Mathews, 72, a lifelong resident of Bradley County passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Tennova Health Care. She was the daughter of the late Arlin Franklin Goins and Stella Marie Conner. She owned and operated Mathews Pool and Mathews Floral Gallery. She was a faithful grandmother who loved to cook and bake for her grandchildren, especially chocolate chips cookies. She loved watching the Hallmark channel and was an avid Harley Davidson rider.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Tamara Lamon,. And a step-father, Elmer Connor.
Survivors include her children Tommy Cannon (Melanie) and Stoney Mathews (Samantha Laible); a brother, Neil Conner; a sister, Sharon Harper Wade (Joe); her grandchildren, Carrera Andrews, Jake Cannon, Hunter Keefer, Gage Mathews, and Jacob Mathews; three great grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Randall Lamon.
The family will receive friends from 3pm to 5pm Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland. Graveside services will follow in Mt Olive cemetery with Rev Gary Sears officiating.
