Obituary

Sharon Elaine Owens Trusley 56, of Athens TN, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday July 16th, 2015 at her home with her loved ones.

She was a member of Clearwater Baptist Church and was a graduate of McMinn County High School and 2 years of college at Berea. She was a former employee of Textron/Collins & Aikman Manufacturing.

A daughter of the late Charles Herbert Owens and Gladys Key Owens. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Garland Trusley.

Survivors include daughters: Lacey Trusley, Gracie Trusley and son Michael Kershaw all of Athens.
Daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Ray Davis of Athens, Daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Kenny Miller of Riceville, Daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Richie Raper of South Carolina, Daughter Renee Daily of Georgia.

5 grandsons: Little Man(Kenny),Bryson, Christian, Jacob, John John and 1 grand daughter Codie.

2 sisters: Cathy Salvatori of Athens and Debbie Owens of Decatur. 1 brother and sister-in-law Charles Anthony and Elaine Owens.

1 niece Nicole Long and 2 great nieces Hope and Caitlyn of Athens. 1 Aunt Louise Key of Knoxville.

A very special thank you to Dr. Gandhi, Cheryl, Terri and Jean from Oncology and Monica Masingale. You all were a blessing to her.

Another special thank you to Robert Bailey who was a great friend and was always willing to help no matter what.
She had a heart of gold and will be missed by many, but especially her daughter Lacey Trusley. They were best friends and were always together!
Memorial services will be on Wednesday July 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Clearwater Baptist Church.
