Selma "Junior" Wilson, Jr.

February 14, 1939 — November 15, 2019

Selma “Junior” Wilson, Jr. 80, from Old Fort, TN, resided in Cleveland, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 15, 2019 at a local hospital. He was of the Christian Faith. Selma worked at Duplin and went on to work at Duracell for 30 plus years in maintenance till he retired. He loved his family, spoiled our mom to no end and his daughters also. His love had no bounds. He was a quiet and simple man that everyone who met him knew he had a gentle soul. His laughter was infectious, if he really got tickled, he would literally cry with laughter and say,”Quit It.” Selma “Junior” was a humble man who made sure everyone was taken care of. Family is and was the most important thing to him. It made his goal and only hobby in life. He was the best papaw too and doted on his grandchildren. We are going to miss him on this earth, but we know he is in Heaven with our sweet mother. We all had a pact to meet at the second tree on the right in Heaven. We know mom and dad are up there at that tree now, together, looking down on all of us, smiling dancing in the streets of gold. “NOTHING BUT LOVE”, your little girls, Angie & Jacqueline

He was preceed in death by his father, Selma Wilson, Sr.; mother, Bessie Burton; brothers, K.C. Wilson and Franklin Wilson; sisters, Shirlene (Shirley) Wilson, Josephine Collins, Grace McClain and Roxy Dickson.

Survived by his daughters, Angela Rogers and Jacqueline Lawson; grandchildren, Caven Rogers, Emily Rogers, Whitney Lawson and Cole Lawson; great grandaughter, Violet Rogers; brother-in-law, Hayes Dickson; several nieces and nephews, Brenda Holmes, Harold Collins, Terry Collins, Steve McClain, Charles McClain, Joyce McClain, Mitchell Dickson and Sandra Berry.
