Obituary
Scott Hunt, 46, a resident of Cleveland, TN and formerly of Sweetwater, TN passed away on Monday, May 6th, 2013. Scott was born on May 28th a son of the late Bill Hunt. Scott was a member of the Candies Creek Baptist Church. His fun loving and great sense of humor made Scott a person who was loved by many. Scott never passed up the opportunity to help out a friend. He was a gifted actor and writer helping with many productions of the “Candies Hams” of Candies Creek Baptist Church. Scott was also a talented cook, but will be most remembered for being a loving husband and father.
Scott leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of nineteen years Tammy Jackson Hunt, two children Chandler Hunt and Mason Hunt, mother Joann Quackenbush and husband Bob, step mother Betty Long Hunt, father and mother-in-law Reverend Jimmy & Linda Jackson, three sisters Debbie Williams (Tom), Vickie Hunt and her friend Liza, and Lisa Kasior (Shane), one brother Jeffrey Quackenbush and family. Scott is also survived by numerous other extended family members, church family and friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, May 11th, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Candies Creek Baptist Church located at 294 Old Eureka Road in Charleston, TN with the Reverend Jamie Work officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service time.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Candies Creek Baptist Church Mission Fund in Scott’s memory.
