Savannah Elaine Martin

March 19, 1995 — August 25, 2020

Did you guys hear? Savannah Martin got a promotion! She got an opportunity to be a part of an elite group of dynamic individuals. It was as if she was created for the position.

She got the call on the morning of August 25, 2020. The offer was so good she couldn’t refuse. They loved everything about her. As a graduate from Lee University, she was ready for any opportunity that came her way. They lured her in with talks of endless amounts of beach time, wild worship, and all of the tea and Dr. Pepper she could drink. I hope they know what they are getting into because she doesn’t play around. Oddly enough, the individual they were looking for also needed to have a robust love for manatees. Let’s be honest, Savannah never found a manatee she didn’t love. What really sealed the deal for them was her dynamic personality, brilliant intellect, and unreasonable amount of sass. They loved her passion for the nations and desire to see lives changed. Honestly, they were in dire need of someone who was an aggressively loyal daughter, sister, and friend.

It’s so exciting! Her heart has never been more alive. I know she packed her dancing shoes and her ever-famous worship pants and is being celebrated every day for the beautiful creature she is. She always painted life outside of the lines and created her own vibrancy in everything she did. It has been a wonder to watch.

That morning, she said her see-you-laters to her loving mother and father, Darrell and Sandi Martin. She finger-gunned her rowdy siblings goodbye, wishing Robert Martin, Matthew Martin, and Abigail Martin a Savannah-like farewell. She wished her loving grandparents, Ray and Ruth Ann Davis and Joel and Nancy Martin, goodbye. She gave a big thank you to all of her loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews. And without missing a beat, she waved farewell to all of her loyal friends. We love her so much.

To help celebrate this auspicious occasion, Savannah’s family would like you to join in celebrating her advancement into heaven. They’ve never been more proud of her. The family would like you to join them on August 30, 2020 at 4pm at Living Word Church for her Celebration of Life Party. We would love for you to join us as we honor the life of Savannah Elaine Martin, born March 19, 1995 and went home August 25, 2020.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Living Word Church Missions fund.
