Sarah Elizabeth Kinser Harrison

Sarah Elizabeth Kinser Harrison, 83, of Cleveland, passed away June 18th, 2016. Born December 25, 1932 Sarah was a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN. She graduated from Bradley Central High School in 1951. Following graduation she attended and graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College. She was employed at the Church of God Publishing House for 38 years. She is preceded in death by her father Irvin French Kinser, her mother Willie Mae Headrick (Bill) Kinser and nephew Anthony Sherlin.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years L. Eugene Harrison. One daughter Denise Yvette Harrison Verner (Frederick) of Cleveland. Two grandchildren; Dedra Lagene Harrison West (Adam) of Washington Twp, MI; Daniel Drake Warren Verner of Cleveland. Special Niece; Deanna Lynn Cooper Barrick (David) of Athens, GA. Sisters; Hope Hall (Ted), Jimmie Cooper (Charles), Gladys Sherlin, Marilyn Kinne (Kevin) all of Cleveland. Brother Irvin Kinser (Jewel) of Cleveland. Nieces and Nephews; Charles Cooper Jr. (Faye), Denzil Cooper Sr. (Mary), Johnnie Cooper (Rhonda), Beth Sherlin Rainey (Lee), Jay Ted Sherlin, Brent Hall (Marti), Kevin Kinser, all of Cleveland, Carroline Hall of Bronx, NY, Kelly Kinser Owens (Brian) of Chesapeake, VA. Great Nieces and Nephews; Denzil Cooper Jr. (Jennifer), Jennifer Guy (Nick), Cami Rainey, Madison Sherlin, Raygan Hall, Rylee Hall, Reece Hall all of Cleveland, Holly Cooper Ogletree (John) of Roswell, GA, Julia Hudson (BJ) of Murfreesboro, TN, Lexi Owens, Belle Owens and Ashton Owens of Chesapeake, VA. Great-Great Nieces and Nephews; Braydon Cooper, Maddox Cooper, Katelyn Guy, & Nicholas Guy all of Cleveland.

A visitation will be held from 9:00am until 10:00am on Monday June 20, 2016 at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service located at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 with a graveside memorial service to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Guinn E. Green officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Kinser Church of God Family Center and Pavilion.
