Sarah E. Varnell

Sarah E. Varnell, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. She was born on July 23, 1926. She was a Christian and a member Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She often told childhood stories, and enjoyed flowers and gardening as well as shopping. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Baker, Sr.; parents James A. and Anne R. Richeson; as well as 4 brothers and 1 sister.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving devoted husband, Edwin Kenneth Varnell; sons, Van Baker, Edward Baker, Jr., and Carl “Chip” Baker; daughter Coye Baker Hadorn; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland at a later date.
