Sally "Lisa" Graves

Sally “Lisa” Graves, age 81, passed away peacefully Thursday December 20th. Lisa was born on July 18th, 1937 in Ft Wayne, Indiana to Rosemund and Dorothy Boley.
She was independent from an early age, when she became one of the first homesteaders to move to Alaska from Los Angeles in 1958. She would meet the love of her life there, a Marine named William Graves stationed in Anchorage. They moved to Cleveland, TN with their 3 children in 1971. For nearly 40 years they owned and operated a tavern named “Lisa’s” in Charleston, TN. She was known to have a loving heart, and always willing to go the extra mile to help those less fortunate. She never met a stranger, and always found a way to relate. She will be greatly missed by the ones she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bill, and her daughter Sandra.
Lisa is survived by her daughter Kim (Bob) Overstreet, son Billy Graves; her grandchildren Priscilla (Dustin) Smith, Nic (Themelina) Owens, Jason (Tina) Owens, Josh (Barbara) Owens; great-grandchildren Jordan Smith, Gage Smith, Neveah Owens, Jesse Owens; plus much more extended family, all of which she loved deeply.
There will be a private celebration of life with family and friends.
