Ruth Lawson “Tommy” Harris, 87, passed away on Friday, February 13th, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and a special aunt to her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Harris, along with her parents Sanford H. and Della B. Lawson, and her brother, Glenn Lawson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Karen Stuckey; her grandson Matthew Stuckey; her brother Marvin Lawson; her nieces Kathy (Scott) McKinnis and Glenda Lawson; one great-niece Jill (Dale) Thomas and their daughters Addie and Lilah.
A funeral service is planned for 6:00PM on Sunday night, February 15th, 2015 at the Birchwood Baptist Church located at 5436 Highway 60, Birchwood, TN 37308.
The family will be receiving friends two hours prior from 4PM until the 6PM service time at the church.
