Ruth Delores Mital

Ruth Delores Mital, a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 following a short illness at the age of 91. Ruth was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked for many years at K Mart in the Accounting Department and Customer Service. Everyone looked forward to seeing her contagious beautiful smile greet you as you walked into the store. Her passions included her church, family, and friends. She was an active member of First Lutheran Church of Cleveland, TN and enjoyed going to breakfast with her church couples after morning services. Her heart, arms and home were always open to everyone. She had the most positive attitude and was quick to always encourage and lift others up. She is a light that will forever shine on in the hearts of her family and everyone she met. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Richard A Mital; her three sons, Robert E. Creekmore, David B. Creekmore and G. Dewain Creekmore; and her grandson, W. Scott Creekmore. Those left behind to shine her light are her two daughters, Andrea M. Jones, and Pam C. Abney, husband Joey; her son Jeffery D. Mital, wife Crystal; her brother Don K Wright; her three daughter in laws, Mary Creekmore, Brenda Creekmore and Bonnie Creekmore; her nine grandchildren Bridgette Floyd, Jamie Creekmore, Micah Creekmore, Taylor Ramsey, Ryan Cline, Ben Briere, Andrew Jones, Cameron Jones and Tripp Abney; her twelve great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. The family of Ruth Mital wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Signature Healthcare of Cleveland, TN for the excellent care and compassion received during her illness. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 10:00am to 11:30am with the celebration of life service to follow at the First Lutheran Church, 195 McIntyre Ave NE, Cleveland, TN. Ruth requested, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to First Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
