Roy Thomas Womack

Roy Thomas Womack, 68, of Cleveland, TN passed away on May 4, 2022. He was born on August 15, 1953 to the late James and Georgia Womack. Roy enjoyed going out to eat, collecting guns, dancing, following politics, and was a proud supporter of the American Legion. All around, Roy was a tremendous man who loved spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by two siblings: Leroy Womack and Jerry Womack.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 18 years, Lorene Womack; children: Charles James Womack and Scott Alan Womack (Amy); sister Charlotte Reagen (Glen) and Eddy Womack; grandchildren: Tucker Womack, Morgan Womack, Lexy Chapman, and Taylor Coy. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Roy’s life will be held on Saturday May 7th at 3pm at Covenant Baptist Church with visitation prior to the service from 12pm to 3pm at the church. He will be laid to rest at Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
