Ross Edward Wilson

Ross Edward Wilson, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2018. Ross was employed at Bowater for 38 years. Ross was the son of the late Charlie Floyd Wilson and Lillie Wilson Watson. He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Wilson; brother, Charles Wilson; sisters; Lillie Mae Wilson, Amanda Wilson, Nina Wilson-Greathouse; son-in-law, Terry Lee Moore. Ross leaves behind his daughters, Sandra Faye Farris of Chattanooga, TN; Terri Wilson Moore of Charleston, TN. Two granddaughters: Taylor Brianna Moore of Charleston, TN and Tia LeAndra Moore of Atlanta, GA.; one sister, Fannie Wilson-Neal and a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, and friends. The viewing will be Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Road, NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The funeral will be following the viewing at 3:00 PM.
Broken Chain: Little did we know that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
