Ronald Vaughn Mccall

June 5, 1941 — January 4, 2023

Ronald Vaughn McCall, 81, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 4, 2023. He was born on June 5, 1941 to the late Perry and Estey McCall.

For over 30 years, Ron worked for the U.S. Forest Service in North Carolina, Colorado, Georgia, and Tennessee. He worked on the Ocoee River project for the 1996 Olympics.

Ron loved the Lord and served his local church wherever he lived. For the past two decades, he served as a deacon and a Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Cleveland. His strong faith was evident throughout his life.

He was intentional and cherished his family and friends. As a family man, Ron dearly loved his wife of 58 years, three children, and nine grandchildren. He had a way of making everyone feel loved and special. His loving legacy will be remembered by all.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Celeste McCall; children: Andrew McCall (Susan), Leanne Harvey (Bill), and Alecia Teeuwen (Andrew); brother Gordon McCall (Luz); nine grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Cleveland on Monday, January 9 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 before the service. Ron will be buried in Brevard, North Carolina.
