Ronald F. Morrison

Ronald F. Morrison, 88, lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away December 15, 2022, surround by his loving family. Born June 19, 1934, to the late Pledger Franklin Morrison and Pearl Dora Patterson. Ronald was a Charter member of Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy. In his youth days, he loved water-skiing at Parksville Lake, where he taught his family including his sister and brother-in-laws, and his children. He also loved deep sea fishing & Florida beach trips every year. Ronald was a devoted Husband to Bobbie for over 63 years, loving father to Debbie, Steve & Judy, and loved all his grandchildren.

Ronald worked as a product development Manager of furniture for various companies through out his employment, which included, Wade-Brown, Chattanooga, TN, Cleveland Chair, Cleveland, TN, Franklin Manufacturing, Tupelo, MS, Pioneer Manufacturing, Athens, TN, and Fulmarque Furniture, Cleveland, TN.

In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Ruth Morrison and brother, Verlin Morrison.

Survived by his loving son, Steve (Pam) Morrison; daughters, Debbie (J.B.) Brown and Judy (Al) Butler; grandchildren, Kelley (Gilbert) Reid, Sherry (Brian) Leamon, Shane (Rachel) Morrison, Alyson Butler, Clay Butler, Tanner Leamon, Tessa Leamon, Carrie (Clint Lefevers), and Jason Brown; great-grandchildren, Ashley Hughett, Brittney Hughett, Blake Leamon, Gibson Reid, Will Reid, Langlee Morrison, and Eli Morrison; great-great-grandchildren, Bailee Hughett and Marlee Hughett.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Cleveland and nurse Vickie Jones with Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga for the wonderful care he received.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Sunday, December 18, 2022, in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Wade Patterson & Pastor Ron Wright officiating. Burial will be held at Sugar Creek cemetery, following the service.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
