Obituary

Rodney Lee Dockins, 65, of Athens, TN passed away on June 13, 2015 peacefully at his home. He was born on April 26, 1950 to the late James and Pansie Malone Dockins. He was a lifelong resident of this area who loved playing cards, shooting pool, and spending time with his dogs, family and friends.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by one sister Pam Dockins Cornett; mother in law Patsy Clayton; and nephew Steve Chrisman.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory wife of 39 years Sandra Dockins; sister Hornia Dockins Chrisman; nieces and nephews: Scott Chrisman (Christina), Todd Cornett (Malita), Chassie Chrisman Chastain (Robert), Christy Cornett Johnson (Dwayne); a very special family member by choice Kayla Swafford.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday June 17, 2015 at their home located at 1414 County Road 130, Riceville, TN 37370.
