Roberta Burris

Roberta Burris, 87, a resident of Cleveland TN, and native and longtime resident of Glasgow KY passed away on Tuesday October 27, in a local healthcare facility. She was born in Glasgow KY on September 20, 1933 a daughter of the late Lebus and Lois Frankum and lived a majority of her life there until the last 16 years she relocated to Bradley county. Roberta was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church, she loved reading her bible, gardening, and spending time with her family

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband H.T. Burris and one brother Randall Frankum.

Roberta leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Gary Burris and his wife Chris of Cleveland TN, two grandchildren Ryan Burris (Hope) and Brandon Burris (Joy), four great grandchildren Austin, Julia, Caleb, and Logan, numerous other extended family member and a host of special friends.

A service celebrating her life is planned for Friday evening October 30 at 7:00pm in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road Cleveland, TN. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the funeral home also.

The internment and committal service will take place on Saturday October 31 at 2:00 pm CST in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Glasgow KY.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Roberta’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
