Robert Merrill Hightower

Robert Merrill Hightower, 79, longtime resident of Georgetown, Tn, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
In his early years Robert served two years in the U.S. Army, after which he went on to work for Lockheed Martin for over 40 years. He loved wood working, traveling, saltwater fishing and football. He was a loving father, husband and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Margaret Hightower.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 57 years, Constance Hightower; son William M. Hightower; daughters Laura L. Woodcock and Patti A. Hightower; sister Betsy Hawkins; grandchildren Dallas (Beth) Woodcock, Denver (Eve) Woodcock and Dakota (Tami) Woodcock; great- grandchildren Ryder Woodcock, Atlas Woodcock and many other family members.
The family will be holding a celebration of life ceremony on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 1:00 Pm at Mt. Zion New Covenant Church (358 Gamble Rd, Georgetown, TN 37336).
