Obituary
Robert Lewis, 86, a resident of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday evening, March 22nd, 2015 in a Chattanooga health care facility. Robert was born in Etowah, Tennessee on May 20th, 1928. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. John Newton Lewis of Etowah. Robert worked for 31 years at TVA and retired as a plant manager at the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in Alabama. He was an avid golfer and bird hunter, as well as a loving father. He especially loved listening to his wife, Ann, play the piano.

To cherish his memory Robert leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Ann Lewis; his children, David Lewis, Robert Lewis, Bill Lewis, and Kim Williams; his grandchildren Bess & Anna Lewis, Elizabeth McNamee, Thomas Williams, and Clint Lewis as well as one great grandchild, Lillie McNamee.

A celebration of life service is planned for 11:00AM on Monday, March 30th, 2015 at the Spivey Memorial United Methodist Church located at 3680 Blythe Ferry Rd, Dayton, TN. Brother Bill Ewing will be officiating.

The Lewis family expresses it sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at the Morning Point assisted living facility in Hixson, TN, Avalon Hospice, and Bright Star Lifecare for their care and compassion.
