Robert Franklin “Yogi” Price

Robert Franklin “Yogi” Price, 83, of East Ridge passed away Thursday, June 10th. He was born 17 December 1937 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late James Coulson and Bertha (Harp) Price.

He was a 1957 graduate of Lakeview High School where he was a 4-year letterman in football and the Southeastern Golden Gloves Boxing runner-up. He joined the Chattanooga, Marine Corps Reserves in February 1955 and went on active duty with the Marine Corps upon graduation from High School. He was a career Marine serving as an enlisted man, Warrant Officer, Commissioned Officer and served three tours of combat duty in Vietnam.

He is preceded in death by his three brothers: James Douglas, Charles Edward, and Joseph Delano Price.

He is survived by his ex-wife Mary Annette Price, children, Robert (Nancy) Price, Terri Anderson, Deborah (Steve) Holderfield and James “Jeff” (Kathryn) Price, six grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.

Interment and a graveside service will be at 2:30pm, 29 June, 2021 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
